Dyersburg State to host first Very Merry Tea event

Dyersburg, Tennessee – Dyersburg State Community College will host its first Very Merry Tea on Saturday, December 14, at 2 p.m. at the Learning Resource Center on the Dyersburg Campus.

Mark your calendars and purchase a ticket because you won't want to miss our delightful Very Merry Tea! This festive fundraising event is the perfect way to celebrate the season while making a difference in our community.

The event will include a delightful selection of teas, hot cocoa, cookies, and pastries to warm your spirits, an opportunity for a free digital image with Santa Claus to capture those magical moments, and an afternoon filled with fun activities for all ages!

Highlight your business, family, or organization by reserving a table for you and your guests and decorating it for the event. Each sponsorship will include table signage, teas, refreshments, and opportunities for photos with Santa. If you choose not to decorate the table, staff will decorate it with a holiday theme. The maximum number of seats per round table is eight persons. All sponsorship tables must be decorated by Friday, December 13 at 3 p.m.

Dr. Amanda Walker, Vice President of External Affairs at Dyersburg State, shared, "In addition to our annual tree lighting on December 6, and as the holiday season approaches, we invite you to join us for our 1st Annual Very Merry Tea on December 14. This event is an opportunity to come together, connect with family, friends, and neighbors, and support the future of Dyersburg State. Together, we can spread joy and warmth this season!"

All proceeds from the Very Merry Tea will benefit the Area of Greatest Need at the College, helping us support our students and enhance their educational experience. Your participation makes a difference!
