LIFELINE Blood Services announces Annual Vein Drain Blood Drive

Jackson, TN: LIFELINE Blood Services is thrilled to announce its Annual Vein Drain event, set to take place on Thursday, October 24th, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at LIFELINE Blood Services 183 Sterling Farms Drive in Jackson, TN.

Dyersburg, TN: In addition, the Dyersburg, TN, LIFELINE Blood Services location will host its Vein Drain on October 26th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Located at 1130 Highway 51 Bypass, Suite 19 and 20.

Melinda Reid, Marketing Manager at LIFELINE Blood Services, expressed her excitement, saying, "Our donors love the Vein Drain; it's our most anticipated themed blood drive of the year. Our team members are dressed in their costumes and our donors have fun coming to donate in their costumes as well. We look forward to having a spooktacular time while saving lives!"

Every donor will receive a commemorative Vein Drain t-shirt and a Chick-fil-A coupon. Additionally, at our Jackson Center, donors will be entered into a drawing for two sets of tickets to the Zombie Trail Paintball and Camp Blood.

LIFELINE Blood Services operates from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday through Saturday in Jackson, TN. The location in Dyersburg, TN is open Saturday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday – Tuesday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Wednesday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Walk-ins are always welcome. LIFELINE Blood Services plays a critical role in serving 21 counties in West Tennessee and 17 emergency helicopter service locations, and 1 ground ambulance service. Each year, the center collects approximately 26,000 blood products, including red cell units, platelets, and plasma, to meet the needs of patients. LIFELINE also provides essential reference lab and cross-matching services to healthcare facilities.
