Fyrne Lake is racing to rescue animals in need with annual 10K/5K

The Annual Fyrne Lake 10K/5K Run benefitting Paws to Care will be held on Saturday, October 26 at Fyrne Lake, located at 6875 Lenox Nauvoo Rd. in Dyersburg, TN. Race Day registration will be open from 7:30- 8:30 a.m.

The 10K Trail Run will be a timed race with awards distributed to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place overall male and female. Additionally, three deep male and female runners in age groups: 14-under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over will be awarded. Backpacks and Tech shirts are included in this race.

The 5K Challenge Course will include over half a dozen natural and man-made obstacles scattered throughout the course. The race will not be timed. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.

The 5K Nature Walk will also include a t-shirt.

Packet pickup and late registration will be held from 8-8:55 a.m.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 8:55 a.m.

The 10K will begin at 9 a.m. and the 5K Challenge Course and Trail Walk will begin at 9:10 a.m. Awards will be distributed at 11:15 a.m. in addition to a post-race party.
