Coats of Hope is taking donations

SPECIAL TO THE STATE GAZETTE

On Saturday, November 16, from 1- 3 p.m., Coats of Hope will be distributing coats, sweaters, and other winter items for free to the public in need at Cornerstone Church of God, located at 804 Lake Rd.

Volunteers will also be serving hot meals during distribution, using additional resources available from partnering local organizations.

Donations are still being collected. Items in need include Hot Hands, warm socks, blankets, sleeping bags, hats, gloves, sweaters, and coats. Items may be new or lightly used.

Donations can be dropped off at Cornerstone Church, Coby Jo’s Diner, Hillcrest Baptist Church, Cornerstone Church of God, Dyersburg Church of God, the Salvation Army, or State Gazette.
