Lady Trojans open postseason with quarterfinal win

DMS got their postseason underway on Thursday when the Lady Trojans travelled Arlington to take on Elmore Park in the first round of the Area 18 Regional Volleyball Tournament, taking the match in back-to-back sets.

The Lady Trojans took the first set 25-9 then claimed the second set while battling off a rallying Elmore Park by a score of 25-20 to advance to the semifinals.

DMS takes on Arlington on Friday night at 6 p.m. in the semifinals of the Area 18 Regional Volleyball Tournament in Arlington.
