The Lady Choctaws were in control early in the opening set, getting an Adalyn Harrison ace to cap a dominating start to the varsity match and take a 19-5 lead. DMS was able to battle back briefly as their rally was highlighted by an Ally Hinson ace to cut the Northview lead to 22-14. But, the Lady Choctaws answered by scoring three of the next four points to take the opening set 25-15.

Northview continued to control the scoring tempo in the second set as an ace and a kill from Lynlee Young helped the Lady Choctaws take a 15-8 lead. Following an ace from Lady Choctaw Kate Benedetto, Northview dominated down the stretch with a 10-2 run to end the set and take the match, 25-10.

Northview returns to action this week when the Lady Choctaws travel to Halls for the West Tennessee Athletic Conference Tournament which begins on Tuesday. Dyersburg moved on to the Area 18 Regional Volleyball Tournament which opened on Thursday evening in Arlington against Elmore Park.
