The annual Depot Days 5K Run kicked off on Saturday, September 21, as racers took to the start line at First United Methodist Church in Newbern at 8 a.m. The event featured a 5K run, a 1-mile run, and a 2-mile walk. The event was held in honor and memory of the late George Butler and Bart Wiliams.

Wooden plaques were presented to each of the overall winners and lifelong supporters of the Depot and the annual race.
