Plan ahead: Tennessee EBT to briefly pause Saturday night

Tennessee Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) services will temporarily cease between Saturday, September 21, 11 p.m. to Sunday, September 22, 1 a.m. The two hour hiatus is due to a change of vendors. Cardholders will be unable to use the card for food, cash purchase, or cash withdrawals during the break. State officials recommend that cardholders should plan ahead.
