Seniors Day at the Dyer County Fair provided joy for thousands

On Thursday, September 6, area seniors got to enjoy a free day at the Dyer County Fair, food, door prizes, and fellowship, courtesy of First Citizens National Bank, a host of vendors, door prize sponsors, and volunteers.

First Citizens National Bank provided a joyful day to almost 4,000 seniors, their families, or helpers, feeding at least 1,000 of the happy fair. Student volunteers from Northview Middle School Beta Club and Dyersburg Middle School Beta Club served the seniors.

Sonic donated wraps for burgers. Providers/venders of door prizes included, White & Associates Insurance, Extendicare Home Health, West TN Legal Services, White & Associates Home Insurance, Wesley Living, Addus Homecare, Hatfield Insurance, Amedisys Home Health, Unity Psychiatric Care / AHC Dyersburg, UT Extension Family Consumer Science, Walmart Vision Center, Gentiva Hospice, Reelfoot Manor & Home Health, Signature Healthcare, and First Citizens National Bank.
