Katie Watford

Trimble Elementary School

Katie Watford has been an educator for 20 years. She is currently a 4th grade teacher at Trimble Elementary School.

Principal Cindy Hutching says Watford “is truly a patient, compassionate, and dedicated teacher. She builds strong relationships with her students and inspires them to.” Hutching says Trimble Elementary is truly blessed to have Ms. Katie as part of its Trimble family.

“Teaching brings so much happiness in my life,” said Watford. “I love seeing the relationships built inside my classroom. We become a family every year. I love watching “my kids” grow throughout their school careers. They make me so proud!”

Sarah Myint

Dyersburg High School

Sarah Myint has been an art teacher in Dyersburg City Schools since 2011. She was the art teacher at Dyersburg Primary School for the first half of her career. Since 2018, she has taught Art and Ceramics classes at Dyersburg High School. Myint is very talented and loves to share her love of creativity.

She seeks out various professional developments to learn new art techniques and teaching strategies. She is the sponsor of the DHS Art Club and is very active in the community events and projects at DHS. Dyersburg City School officials say they are very blessed to have Mrs. Sarah Myint at Dyersburg High School!
