Clifford Eugine Preslar

Clifford Eugine Preslar was born on April 5, 1940 to Clifford Roy Preslar and Zanie Elizabeth Preslar (Harris) and grew up in Dyersburg, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours hunting, fishing, and gardening, finding peace and joy in nature’s bounty. His green thumb was well-known among family and friends, who often enjoyed the fruits (and vegetables) of his labor.

He worked as a farmer and machine mechanic in several factories around town. Eugine was known for his hard work.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Rose Preslar of Clarksville, TN, children Rick Preslar of Corinth, MS, Crystal Emmons of Clarksville, TN, Jeanna Handley of Lakeside, CA, and grandchildren Amber Friel of Bangkok, Thailand, Hope Wray of Clarksville, TN, Joseph Williamson of Clarksville, TN, Lizzi Williamson of Clarksvville, TN, Carly Preslar of Jackson, MS and great-grandchildren Darcy Rose Cannon, Louie and Jack Friel.

Aloya Deanea Johnson

Aloya Deanea Johnson, 9, of Dyersburg, Tennessee died Friday, June 28, 2024, at her residence.  Funeral services for Miss Johnson will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2024, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Williams Chapel Community Cemetery near Friendship, Tennessee.  Visitation for Miss Johnson will be held from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.  Johnson-Williams Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Aloya Deanea Johnson.
