Multi-agency law enforcement partnership results in seizure of drugs, firearm

DYERSBURG, TN. - Agents with the 29th District served a search warrant today, July 25, on a home in the 700 block of Southern. Agents were assisted by the Dyer County Sheriff's Office's investigations team and the Dyersburg Police Department's Street Crimes Unit. During the search, the teams seized 90 fentanyl pills, four grams of fentanyl powder, one ounce of cocaine, a loaded 9mm handgun, two lbs. of marijuana, and $1,675 in suspected drug proceeds. One male, Toddrick Lamont Smith, 43, previously convicted of a felony(s), was arrested on numerous drug and weapon charges. This case is being prosecuted by the office of the District Attorney General, 29th Judicial District, Danny Goodman, Jr.
