Local graduate attends UT Martin orientation event

Dyer County High School Graduated Alyssa Layne (center), her stepfather, Jordan Hinson, and her mother, Jackie Hinson, all of Dyersburg, visited the University of Tennessee at Martin on July 22 to take part in the university’s Summer Orientation And Registration (SOAR) event. SOAR is a one-day orientation experience that is designed to introduce new students to UT Martin and ease their transition into college life.
