On Saturday, July 13, the Mid-South Riders will host its 18th Annual Bike Show. This year’s event will benefit Van "Bubba" Alexander, who is currently fighting pancreatic, stomach, and liver cancer. He and his wife Julie have 2 children. They are originally from Milan, TN but now reside in Martin, TN.

They are traveling to and from Houston to the MD Anderson Cancer Center every eight weeks for treatments. Anderson is currently unable to work due to his condition.

The Bike Show will be held at the Dyersburg Moose Lodge, located at 395 Country Club Rd., in Dyersburg. Registration begins at noon. Judging begins at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $20 per bike. All members of the community are welcome. You do not have to be a biker or have a bike to attend.

The event will include a Bike Show and a People's Choice Award will be given. Anyone present is eligible to vote. The event will also have a 50/50 drawing, gift baskets will be raffled off, and a live auction held.

Grilled hot dogs and hamburgers will be served with all the trimmings, sides, and desserts. The auction will include donated items, biker-related merchandise, home decor, gift certificates, a Harley Davidson quilted throw, gift baskets, and desserts.
